- A very simple site that allows you to document your training.  It's nothing special but it's very easy to use and has all of the features that most runners demand.  It even keeps track of how many miles you have on a given pair of running shoes!

- This is probably one of my all time favorite websites.  The amounts of trivial knowledge that I've learned from this site is ridiculous.  If you're a music junkie of any kind you'll get something from this site and if you're not this site just may convert you over to the dark side.  Bottom line: a great, well organized and intuitive music database.

- A genius idea that uses google maps to allow you to plan out runs to the nearest hundredth of a mile.

- The only one of the ubiquitous online social networks that I've succumbed to joining.

- One of the most talented sportswriters of my generation--his combination of humor, pop-culture references and unconventional journalism make his writing from the perspective of a fan feel authentic.   He's so good that I overlook his allegiance to the Boston Redsox.  His three weekly columns offer a refreshing break from work; they also make me envy his lifestyle and covet his job!
